Our client, a leader in the precision engineering sector, is currently seeking a Kanban Inspector to join their fast-paced manufacturing environment in Poole. This is a permanent position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting inspection operations within the KANBAN manufacturing facility
Registering inspection transactions into the MRP system
Recording and reporting all internal and supplier defects within the KANBAN facility
Ensuring early detection of unavoidable errors to prevent issues at the pre-treatment or final inspection stages
Supporting corrective actions and quality reviews to ensure effective preventative measures
Maintaining uninterrupted KANBAN process flow and supporting the required delivery schedule
Implementing minor rework when necessary
Conducting goods-in inspections and pre-process inspections
Booking in subcontract parts
Identifying and reporting non-conforming products, arranging rework as required
Performing final inspections of all KANBAN kit deliveries prior to dispatch
Supporting the manufacturing process to ensure there are no production delays
Job Requirements:
Experience with KANBAN systems
Strong inspection skills
Understanding of quality control processes
Experience in process management within a manufacturing environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to undertake in-house training
