Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and understanding
Assist teachers in adapting activities to meet a range of learning needs
Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils remain focused throughout lessons
Support the development of communication, social, and independence skills
Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

Experience working with children or young people is desirable
Understanding of SEND and the challenges some pupils may face within education
Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and positive in a variety of situations
Passion for supporting children to achieve their individual goals
Willingness to learn and develop new skills within a school setting
