Commercial Insurance Handler

Salary: From £30,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Hybrid working – 3 days office-based, 2 days working from home

Our client is widely recognised as one of the leading insurance intermediaries within the construction sector. Built on a foundation of honesty, understanding and trust, they have established longstanding relationships with clients by delivering tailored insurance solutions designed to meet specific business requirements.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Commercial Insurance Handler to join their dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused insurance professional looking to further their career within a respected and specialist brokerage. Working closely with the broking teams, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of client accounts and ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered.
Key responsibilities include:

* Providing administrative and technical support to the broking teams.

* Assisting with the management and servicing of client accounts.

* Preparing policy documentation, processing renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business.

* Liaising with insurers and clients to ensure efficient handling of enquiries.

* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

* Supporting the delivery of tailored insurance solutions that meet clients' individual needs.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

* Previous experience within the general insurance sector.

* Previous experience in a similar role.

* Working knowledge and experience of the Acturis system.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

* A professional and customer-focused approach.
