Our client is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their energetic and forward-thinking team in Cardiff. This permanent position involves working on a variety of projects in the water sector, contributing to a multi-billion-pound pipeline of work required by the UK Water Authorities during AMP 8 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering Civil Engineering designs for water sector projects
Collaborating with a dynamic team to meet project goals
Ensuring compliance with Water Authority statutory approval processes
Contributing to Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS) projects
Managing multiple projects to ensure timely and effective delivery
Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders
Participating in initiatives for professional and technical development
Job Requirements:
Experience in the Water Industry
Civil Engineering degree
Progression towards or willingness to achieve Professional Qualification with ICE or CIWEM
Proficiency in 3D design and modelling using software like MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage
Ability to manage concurrent projects effectively
Strong initiative and methodical approach to work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
