Project Quantity Surveyor
London | £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
A growing and highly regarded construction consultancy in London is seeking a motivated and commercially aware Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their expertise within complex infrastructure and construction projects operating under NEC contracts.
The Project Quantity Surveyor's Role
The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will join an experienced commercial team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across the infrastructure, engineering, and built environment sectors. The Project Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing project costs, administering NEC contracts, and supporting successful project delivery from inception through to completion.
On a day-to-day basis, the Project Quantity Surveyor will be involved in cost planning, contract administration, change management, valuations, forecasting, and financial reporting. Working alongside senior commercial professionals, the Project Quantity Surveyor will gain exposure to high-profile projects while taking increasing responsibility for their own schemes.
This position offers excellent career progression, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to further develop specialist NEC contract knowledge within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Project Quantity Surveyor - Requirements
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a RICS-accredited equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' Quantity Surveying experience
Experience working with NEC contracts
Understanding of cost management and commercial reporting
Working towards MRICS desirable
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Professional, organised, and commercially minded
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant commercial software
