Garden Maintenance Team Leader – London
Full-Time | High-End Residential Gardens
We are working with a number of high-end London-based clients who are seeking an experienced and motivated Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join their established teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable horticulturist with strong leadership skills to take responsibility for maintaining prestigious private gardens to an exceptional standard, while leading and supporting a small team on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and supervising a small garden maintenance team
* Maintaining high-end gardens to an exceptional standard
* Liaising directly with clients in a professional and confident manner
* Operating and maintaining horticultural tools and machinery
* Ensuring equipment is well maintained and used safely
* Adhering to current health and safety regulations
* Carrying out a full range of seasonal horticultural tasks
Requirements
* Proven experience in garden maintenance, with team leadership or supervisory experience
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* RHS Level 2 / NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture (or equivalent, or working towards)
* Strong plant knowledge and practical horticultural skills
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and willing to undertake manual work
Desirable:
* PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates
