Mon-Thu: 06:00-14:30 / 14:30-23:00

Fri: 06:00-12:00 / 12:00-18:00

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Belper on a 6-month secondment with strong potential to become permanent.

Immediate start available, making this an excellent opportunity for engineers looking to move quickly into a new role.

You'll work in a highly automated, fast-paced production environment, supporting advanced equipment including robotics and PLC-controlled systems. The company is known for its engineering excellence, sustainability focus, and commitment to employee development.

Key Responsibilities

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and automated systems
Deliver reactive maintenance to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively
Support automated presses, robotics, and PLC-controlled equipment
Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems
Contribute to continuous improvement (CI) and engineering projects
Ensure adherence to health & safety, quality, and compliance standardsSkills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
Background in manufacturing, FMCG, production, or industrial environments
Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems
Experience with robotics or automated machinery (desirable)
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
Proactive and flexible approach with strong problem-solving skillsWhat's on Offer
