Senior Mechanical Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative technology company developing cutting-edge medical devices. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in the development of precision mechanical systems for next-generation drug delivery products, taking designs from early-stage concepts through to high-volume manufacture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of designs from concept through to production
* Develop precision mechanical components and assemblies
* Produce 3D CAD drawings and supporting documentation
* Support prototype builds, testing, and engineering investigations
* Apply DFM and DFA principles to optimise designs for scalable production
* Assess tolerance stack-ups and the impact of manufacturing variation on performance
Key Skills & Experience:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* Previous experience developing medical devices is a must
* Strong 3D CAD skills
* Knowledge of injection moulding and high-volume manufacturing processes
* Understanding of precision mechanisms and tolerance analysis
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple technical workstreams
