Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people?

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected specialist education provider within a nationally recognised multi-academy trust. This unique alternative provision supports pupils who require a personalised educational approach due to social, emotional and behavioural needs, disrupted educational experiences or barriers to accessing mainstream education.

This is a rare opportunity to teach within an exceptionally small class environment, allowing you to focus on building relationships, delivering personalised learning and supporting meaningful progress for every pupil.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and engaging curriculum to a very small cohort of pupils within a highly supportive specialist setting.

With extensive support from experienced teaching assistants, pastoral teams and senior leaders, you will have the opportunity to focus on individualised teaching and achieving positive outcomes for pupils who benefit from additional nurture, structure and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.
• Develop strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress.
• Adapt learning to meet individual academic, social and emotional needs.
• Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience and self-regulation skills.
• Work collaboratively with support staff, families and external professionals.
• Promote high expectations and celebrate individual successes.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within a primary setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is resilient, calm and adaptable.
• Can build strong relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to learning.
• Has a nurturing and inclusive approach.
• Believes every child can achieve success with the right support.

Applications are welcomed from:

• Primary Teachers
• SEN Teachers
• SEMH Teachers
• Alternative Provision Teachers
• PRU Teachers
• Inclusion Teachers
• ECTs with strong behaviour management skills and a passion for supporting vulnerable learners

Why Apply?

• Extremely small class sizes with highly personalised teaching.
• Strong support from experienced teaching assistants and pastoral staff.
• Opportunity to make a transformational impact on pupils' lives.
• Inner London Pay Scale.
• Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities.
• Join a nationally recognised education trust committed to inclusion and achievement.
• Work within a collaborative, supportive and values-driven team.

This role would suit a teacher who enjoys building strong relationships with pupils, thrives within a nurturing environment and wants to see the direct impact of their work every day.

If you are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential, we would love to hear from you.
