Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Elec/mech Prototype Technician for a contract position to support current projects. This is a 3-6 month contract with plenty of hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing electro/mechanical assembly tasks to support critical projects
Creating and working on prototypes as required
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
Maintaining high standards of quality and precision in assembly activities
Collaborating with engineering and project teams to ensure timely project delivery
Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards
Documenting assembly processes and reporting any issues or improvements
Job Requirements:
Experience of electro/mechanical assembly and wiring within defence or aerospace
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Proficiency in creating and working with prototypes
High calibre assembly skills with a focus on detail and precision
Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards in assembly work
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
