Are you a caring and nurturing Nursery Assistant looking for a rewarding role in early years education?
Do you have a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and a passion for supporting young children to thrive?
Are you confident providing personal care and creating a safe, engaging environment for children aged 2-3 years?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery setting in Newport that provides a warm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, develop and grow through play. The setting is committed to supporting every child’s individual needs and creating positive early learning experiences.
The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a part-time, term-time-only basis, working afternoons from 12:15pm to 3:45pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children aged 2-3 years, helping with daily activities, personal care routines, and promoting learning through engaging and age-appropriate experiences.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare
• Experience working within an early years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Experience supporting children aged 2-3 years
• Confidence providing personal care
• A kind, nurturing and patient approach
