Then we have a great opportunity for a hands on stock controller to work for one of our clients in Northampton. This is a permanent opportunity empoloyed directly with our client on a fixed day shift working Monday to Friday. You will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate stock levels to ensure the business operates efficiently.
For this role you must be able to drive as our client are located in a rural location. You will also need a counterbalance forklift license.
Location: Northampton
Salary: £13.48 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 08:30 - 17:00 (1 hour lunch)
Job Type: Permanent
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role combining stock control, investigation work and hands-on responsibilities. You will become a key part of the operation, helping to maintain stock accuracy and supporting wider inventory processes.
As a Stock Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out cycle counts and routine stock accuracy checks
Investigating inventory discrepancies and stock queries
Supporting with goods in and entering stock into systems
Conducting stock audits and supplier inventory checks
Working across internal systems and Microsoft Teams to manage requests and updates
Handling and moving stock as part of day-to-day duties
Operating forklifts to move stock Requirements:
Previous experience within stock control
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
A team-focused attitude with good communication skills
Comfortable with manual handling and lifting duties where required
Good standard of written and spoken English
Forklift license (counterbalance)Whats on offer:
