HGV Technician Vancy in Llandow!

Our client, a leading provider in the UK's supercar, movie car, and classic car driving experience industry, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their reputable workshop in Llandow. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced heavy vehicle technicians to work in a unique environment with excellent earning potential.

Benefits for the successful HGV Technician:

Competitive starting salary up to £55,000 per annum
4.5-day working week: Monday to Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
28 days annual leave, with bank holidays (which are working days) available for holiday booking

Opportunity to work on performance vehicles and diverse heavy fleetDuties of the HGV Technician:

Perform all scheduled service, maintenance, and repairs of the highest quality, adhering to manufacturer time schedules
Provide professional technical support to colleagues, including diagnostics and repairs of malfunctions
Maintain accurate documentation of diagnosis, repairs, safety inspections, and service activities
Support the team with technical consultancy and problem-solving
Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, safety procedures, and industry standards
Maintain the company’s fleet to the highest operational standards
Carry out comprehensive diagnostics and repairs, supporting the overall efficiency of workshop operationsRequirements of the HGV Technician:

Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or extensive relevant experience
Several years’ post-qualification experience preferred
Valid Class 1 licence and Tacho card are mandatory
ADR certification and CPC qualification are desirable
Practical experience in heavy vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
A proactive, committed team player capable of producing high-quality work under pressure
Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
Strong troubleshooting capabilities and attention to detail
