Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer

Sector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias preferred).
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 qualified in Engineering.
Experience working within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance within a fast-paced factory environment.
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic experience.
Experience working on production, process, or automated manufacturing machinery.
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to equipment breakdowns.
Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, conveyors, and associated production equipment.
Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK manufacturing sector.
Previous experience within FMCG, food, packaging, plastics, automotive, or other high-speed manufacturing environments.
PLC fault-finding experience.
Continuous improvement or reliability maintenance experience.
