About the Service – Dean House

This is a brand-New Supported Living Service based which is due to open Summer 2026. This property has been Newley refurbished to a high standard. There is a good amount of parking outside the service and to the rear this property it boasts a lovely garden area.

Consists of 4 shared flats and 1 self-contained flat all with en-suites., The staff team will be on site 24 hours a day, to fully support individuals.

The service is a well-located setting for a care service that promotes independence, providing easy access to local amenities and community facilities. The service is within convenient reach of shops, supermarkets, healthcare services and the Rushden Lakes retail and leisure complex, supporting residents’ day-to-day needs and opportunities for community engagement. The area benefits from regular bus services connecting to surrounding towns, with Wellingborough railway station around 15 minutes away offering wider regional and London links. With nearby parks, green spaces and leisure facilities, the location supports a balanced lifestyle, promoting independence, wellbeing and access to the local community in a well-connected and established residential area

You will be working alone and as part of a team supporting people with various needs, such as Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

You will have a person-centred approach to supporting people with their day-to-day living in order to provide a caring, safe and effective service that is responsive to the needs of the people we support. This will include providing support with household tasks, meal planning and preparation, maintaining relationships with their family and friends and with accessing the community.

Service User Interests

The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including:

Arts and crafts
Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
Holidays and short breaks
Walks in the local park and community
Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role

You will:

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers, providing guidance, role‑modelling, and day‑to‑day direction.
• Deliver and oversee high‑quality, person‑centred support, ensuring support plans are followed, reviewed, and updated.
• Coordinate and participate in meaningful activities, appointments, and community engagement for the people we support.
• Maintain high standards of record‑keeping, completing documentation, incident reports, and reviews professionally.
• Participate in the Senior On‑Call rota, responding to staff queries, incidents, and operational needs as required.

• Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work rota-based shifts including Senior On-Call
• Committed to maintaining high-quality standards and excellent practice

Requirements

• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a ro
