Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable independent workshop in Wimbledon, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. Up to £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Full-time, permanent employment contract

Generous holiday entitlement and pension schemeDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct repairs on cylinder heads, gaskets, cambelts, gearboxes, and clutches
Undertake class IV and VII MOT tests in compliance with DVSA standards, if qualified
Provide vehicle servicing and general repairs such as brakes and suspension
Handle larger and heavier jobs within the workshop
Manage maintenance for multiple makes and models from various manufacturers
Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiencyRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience working within an independent garage environment as a Vehicle Technician
Strong technical skills with a track record of completing repairs efficiently
Ability to diagnose vehicle issues confidently and accurately
Hold current MOT Tester certification or be willing to undertake MOT training
Passionate about delivering high-quality work and maintaining excellent customer service
