We are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join a well-established nursing home in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham.
The home provides nursing and dementia care for older people in a warm, person-centred environment, with a strong focus on dignity, comfort, companionship and individual wellbeing.
Role details:
* Registered Nurse
* Based in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham
* £21.22 per hour
* 36 hours per week
* Permanent position
* Nursing and dementia care setting
* Working with older people
* Supportive home environment
* Established care provider
Duties will include:
* Delivering high standards of nursing care
* Supporting residents with nursing and dementia care needs
* Administering medication safely
* Completing care plans and risk assessments
* Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing
* Liaising with GPs, families and external professionals
* Supporting care staff and leading by example on shift
* Promoting dignity, independence, choice and person-centred care
* Maintaining accurate records
* Ensuring care is delivered in line with professional standards
Candidate requirements:
* Valid NMC PIN
* RGN, RMN or RNLD considered
* Previous nursing home experience preferred
* Dementia care experience would be advantageous
* Strong communication and clinical skills
* Caring, reliable and professional approach
* Able to work as part of a team
* Must have the right to work in the UK
