Health, Safety and Environment Manager – Milton Keynes

The Role

As Health, Safety and Environment Manager, with the support of the site Health, Safety, Environment Coordinator you will:

Support the reduction of health, safety and environment risks and hazards across the site

Deliver appropriate Health and Safety training to employees

Undertake workplace inspections and audits

Support the implementation of the new group Safety, Health and Environment management system

Manage reporting and escalation requirements

Oversee contractors and visitors on site

Implement group Safety Health and Environment initiatives and campaigns locally

Deploy strategy and systems to strengthen compliance

Complete risk assessments and lead risk management activities

Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis

Identify unsafe practices and conditions, driving corrective actions

Champion safety culture and behaviours through hands-on engagement

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Is passionate about Health, Safety and Environment, with a proactive and engaging approach

Enjoys coaching, educating, and influencing employees at all levels

Holds a NEBOSH Diploma (or close to completion)

Has proven operational SHE experience in a manufacturing setting

Has led practical initiatives that empower and encourage employee engagement

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by continuous improvement
