We are currently seeking a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with ADHD and Autism within supportive primary school settings across Cheshire East.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, nurturing, and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.
Key responsibilities:
* Providing consistent 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
* Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
* Assisting with personalised learning activities
* Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher
* Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
Ideal candidate:
* Experience working with children with SEN (ADHD, Autism, SEMH desirable)
* Calm, patient, and highly supportive approach
* Strong ability to build trust and positive relationships
* Understanding of safeguarding and child development
* Team player with a proactive attitude
