Salary: Starting from £45,000 dependant on experience plus car/allowance, bonus and enhanced pension

What you'll be doing:
In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee training programs while working closely with senior leadership to drive organisational development.
Design and implement strategic L&D plans aligned with business objectives
Manage and develop a team 1 L&D professional
Create comprehensive learning strategies and manage training budgets
Develop leadership programs and training content
Evaluate program effectiveness and measure training outcomes
Coordinate with business unit heads to identify training needs
Ensure compliance with required certifications
This is a real opportunity to step into a leadership role, reporting to the Head of Learning and Development. You will have management of a training budget, creating direct opportunities to impact organisational effectiveness, with significant autonomy in program design and implementation, as well as working on your own career development, with growth opportunities.
What we are looking for:
Essential
Previous experience in learning and development, with strong knowledge of learning principles and instructional design
Experience with LMS and e-learning platforms
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Outstanding presentation and communication abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable
Professional certifications (CIPD, ILM)
Experience in change management
Knowledge of performance management systems
Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, or related field
