MET Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join an established company in the Kingswinford area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery using Fanuc controls to produce high-quality precision components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
This position is a straight permanent position with the client.
Duties
Program, set, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines with Fanuc controls.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CAD data.
Create and modify CNC programs to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters.
Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using measuring equipment
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Ensure machines are operated safely and maintained in good working condition.
Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet delivery targets.
Working Hours and Pay
There are two positions available, each on different shifts.
6:00am – 2:30pm Monday – Friday (£19.00 per hour)
Or
2:30pm – 1:30am Monday – Thursday (£19.00 per hour plus £1 shift allowance)
Please be aware that the shift that you choose will be fixed, it won't be rotating shifts.
