Our client, one of Europe's leading specialist providers of tailor-made air, rail, road and Freight transportation and logistics services for all classes of hazardous materials are looking for a Freight Coordinator to be based at offices local to Southampton, Hampshire.

Main Purpose of the Role:
The Freight Coordinator will play a key role in delivering seamless, start‑to‑finish freight forwarding services across air, sea, and road. Responsible for managing both import and export consignments, the role ensures the efficient movement of hazardous and non‑hazardous goods while maintaining exceptional levels of customer service
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide start to finish freight forwarding services for both import and export consignments across Multi Modal transportation (Air, Sea, Road).
* Provide high levels of customer service with an ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels.
* Provide freight rates and quotations.
* Completion of customs clearances
To be Considered:
* Strong working knowledge of both import and export operations within a freight forwarding environment, with the ability to manage shipments confidently from end to end.
* Excellent written communication skills, along with the ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
