Planner and Purchaser
Location: Manchester M23
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 | Friday 08:00 – 14:30

We are looking for an experienced Planner and Purchaser to support production and supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production and material schedules
• Raise and manage purchase orders
• Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages
• Liaise with suppliers on lead times and deliveries
• Support forecasting and material planning
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system data
• Work closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams

Skills and Experience

• Experience in planning, purchasing, or supply chain within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of stock control and procurement
• Good communication and supplier-management skills
• ERP/MRP and Microsoft Excel experience
• Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with a competitive salary based on experience
