Quality Assurance Inspector - Aerospace
Location: Eastleigh
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 35 per week
Rate: Up to £45/hour Umbrella

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Inspector to join our Production team. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components, ensuring compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory specifications. Following product familiarisation training, the role may expand to include in-process and final product inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of materials and components using precision measuring equipment.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
Identify and report non-conforming materials.
Support quality investigations and corrective actions.
Verify certifications, traceability records, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
About You:
Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, aerospace, or a similar environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Competent in the use of precision measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Good communication and basic IT skills.
Desirable:
Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, GD&T, or IPC 610.
Quality inspection certification or relevant technical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
