Caspian One is partnering with a leading capital markets organisation on a large scale platform engineering programme and is looking to build out a number of experienced DevOps engineers to support delivery.

This opportunity sits within a complex, highly regulated environment, focused on improving engineering practices, strengthening CI/CD capability, and evolving cloud infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support consistent, reliable delivery
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC principles
• Support the development and deployment of cloud-native services within Azure
• Improve release management processes and deployment standards
• Work closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to ensure resilience and compliance
• Contribute to monitoring, observability, and incident response improvements

Key Experience Required

• Strong hands-on experience with Public cloud (GCP/Azure preferred)
• Proven background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and version control (Git)
• Proficiency in Scripting (Python, Shell, or Go)
• Exposure to monitoring/logging platforms (eg Splunk or similar)
• Understanding of secure engineering practices in regulated environments

Additional Context

• Experience within capital markets or financial services is highly desirable
• Comfortable working as part of a wider delivery team across multiple workstreams
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a collaborative environment

• Sheffield-based
• Hybrid model (approximately 50% onsite)
• Engaged via Caspian One as part of a broader programme team
