A Guildford-based company is looking for a self-motivated, accountable, professional, and skilled Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, servicing clients across London and the South of the UK.
We value our workforce and will fully support future development within this role, we are looking for someone who can grow with the Company. We guarantee variety — no two days are the same, with a wide range of drainage and plumbing challenges to tackle.
ONLY CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL BE CONSIDERED:
· Proven experience in drainage works (essential)
· Full clean driving licence
· Right to work in the UK
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Carry out CCTV drain surveys and provide clear reports
· Diagnose issues across foul water and fresh water systems
· Undertake repairs including:
· No-dig solutions (resin lining/patching)
· Excavation and dig-down repairs
· Install inspection chambers and route new pipework
· Identify issues and recommend solutions to customers
· Upsell additional works where appropriate
· Complete detailed job reports and survey documentation
· Liaise with the office daily, updating on progress
· Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a high standard
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· Strong drainage experience including CCTV surveys
· Knowledge of no-dig repair techniques (resin lining etc.)
· Experience with excavation and pipe installation
· A proactive, can-do attitude
· Confidence speaking with customers and identifying sales opportunities
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Good written English and reporting skills
· Strong problem-solving ability
