We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne / Class 2 Driver to join a busy operations team based in Cambridge.

This is a temporary position working Monday to Friday with a 4:00am start. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed and RoRo vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with all transport legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete relevant documentation
• Transport materials and equipment using flatbed and RoRo vehicles
• Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Traffic legislation
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards
• Deliver a high standard of customer service when required
Essential Requirements
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Category C (Class 2) entitlement
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience driving flatbed and/or RoRo vehicles preferred
• Good command of the English language
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious

Role Details

• £16.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 04:00 start time
• Approximately 48 hours per week
• Temporary contract until August 2026
• Uniform provided
• Interview required prior to start
