Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm (32.5 hours per week)

Right Education is working with a specialist provision in Spalding to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who need consistency, encouragement and positive relationships to succeed.
The setting provides a nurturing environment with small class sizes, allowing staff to build strong relationships with pupils and support them both academically and emotionally.
The Role
* Support pupils with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom
* Work closely with the class teacher to create a safe and engaging learning environment
* Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours
* Support individual learning plans and interventions
* Build positive relationships that encourage pupils to engage with education
* Contribute to a calm, supportive and structured environment
We're Looking For Someone Who:
* Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within education, care or support settings
* Is patient, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
* Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
* Has a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
* Understands the importance of consistency, boundaries and encouragement
* Works well as part of a team
* Is committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes
