About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026. This is a full-time position, with no planning required for the summer term, allowing you to focus fully on teaching and supporting your pupils’ learning.
The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging and creative lessons, supporting pupils’ academic and personal development, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children can thrive.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome and will be fully supported throughout their induction
Experience teaching within KS1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
A positive, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching
