Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
We're working with schools across Bristol who are preparing for the new academic year, and they're on the lookout for a Learning Support Assistant to welcome into their schools.
We’re looking for a caring, patient, and proactive LSA to join a welcoming school located in Bristol. This is one of those roles where no two days are the same, but everyday matters.
What you'll be doing
Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils
Helping children stay focused during lessons
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Monitoring and recording pupil progress
What we're looking for
A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
A calm, patient and supportive approach
Strong communication skills
Experience with SEN (school-based or otherwise)
A willingness to learn and adapt
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
What you can expect from Protocol
Weekly PAYE pay
Ongoing support from a consultant who genuinely cares
Free CPD and online training opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
