SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – Year 5)

Zest Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Fulham in the recruitment of a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with Autism (ASD) and associated challenging behaviour for the full academic year.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a resilient, patient and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs to thrive both academically and socially.
About the Role:
* Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position for the academic year
* Providing 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with Autism (ASD)
* Supporting emotional regulation and managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies
* Assisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to the pupil’s needs
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans
* Encouraging independence, confidence and positive peer relationships
About the School:
* A mixed, state-funded primary school for ages 3–11 serving the Fulham community
* One class per year group (1-form entry)
* Ofsted rated Good in its most recent inspection
* Values-led ethos with a focus on engagement, creativity and inclusive provision
