Conrad Consulting is pleased to be partnering with a growing and highly regarded building consultancy in Hertfordshire to recruit a Senior Building Surveyor.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team delivering a wide range of project-led building surveying services for public sector clients across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London and Essex. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of refurbishment, maintenance and capital works projects across a diverse property portfolio including education, healthcare, civic and community buildings.
The role offers a strong project focus, making it ideal for a surveyor who enjoys seeing schemes through from initial design and specification through to completion on site.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a range of public sector construction and refurbishment projects.
Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
Undertaking contract administration duties and overseeing project delivery.
Conducting condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical reporting.
Providing professional building surveying advice to a varied client base.
Supporting junior surveyors and contributing to team development.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements
Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
MRICS qualified or working towards chartership.
Proven experience delivering building surveying projects.
Strong contract administration and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Full UK driving licence.
