Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to remain involved in major flagship construction projects while gaining greater exposure to senior leadership and clear progression opportunities?

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team operating across the Central Belt.
With project values ranging from £3 million to £20 million, this role offers the opportunity to work on some of Scotland's most high-profile fit-out projects while developing your career within a business that genuinely invests in its people.
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Tier 1 experience who enjoys working on large-scale projects and understands the commercial processes, reporting standards and attention to detail required at the highest level.
Unlike many larger organisations, you'll have direct access to business owners, directors and senior decision-makers, providing a unique opportunity to influence projects, learn from highly experienced industry leaders and accelerate your career development.
You'll be involved in multiple major projects at various stages, primarily across Edinburgh and Glasgow, with coverage extending throughout Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
* Commercial management of major fit-out and interior construction projects valued between £3m and £20m.
* Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
* Contract administration and risk management.
* Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
* Valuation preparation, variations and final account negotiation.
* Monitoring project performance and profitability.
* Working closely with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Mentoring and supporting junior Quantity Surveyors where appropriate.
* Maintaining the highest standards of commercial governance and reporting.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience operating as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Tier 1 contractor, major subcontractor or large construction environment.
* Strong understanding of commercial processes, reporting structures and contractual management.
* Experience delivering projects of significant value and complexity.
* Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Ambition to continue developing professionally within a growing business.
