Chartered Building Surveyor
Posted on Jun 5, 2026 by CV-Library
Threemilestone, Cornwall, United Kingdom
Construction
Immediate Start
£55k - £65k Annual
Full-Time
If you're a Chartered Surveyor looking to escape the corporate environment and take on a more varied role in one of the UK's most sought-after locations, this could be worth considering.
I'm working with a long-established property consultancy looking to strengthen its team in Cornwall. The role offers a genuine mix of work, exposure to high-quality instructions, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with a loyal client base across the region.
Rather than being pigeonholed into one discipline, you'll have the chance to work across a broad range of property matters while enjoying a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
The role will include:
Inspecting and reporting on a variety of property types
Providing professional advice to private and commercial clients
Managing your own portfolio of instructions
Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
Working closely with colleagues across the wider business
Supporting the growth of an established regional office
You'll ideally have:
MRICS qualification
Previous experience within residential, commercial or mixed-practice surveying
Strong communication and client-facing skills
The ability to manage work independently
A proactive and professional approach
Package and benefits:
£55,000 - £65,000 salary
Car allowance
Generous annual leave entitlement
Professional fees paid
Pension contribution
Ongoing professional development
Clear career progression opportunities
Long-term stability within an established business
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for more variety, greater autonomy and the chance to build a career in Cornwall without sacrificing the quality of work.
