We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Operative to take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep of a single, well-maintained building. This role is focused primarily on planned and preventive maintenance, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and operating smoothly.
The position offers a consistent and manageable workload, with minimal reactive demands. Responsibilities will include carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks, routine inspections, basic repairs, and maintaining accurate records of completed work.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is looking for a role with a steady pace and clear structure.
The role is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with no overtime or on call.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks as scheduled
Conduct regular checks and inspections of building systems
Carry out minor repairs and general upkeep
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
Liaise with contractors when required for specialist worksAbout You:
Previous maintenance or facilities experience
NVQ/ SVQ lvl 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
