Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Supply Planner to join our growing supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across suppliers, manufacturing, demand planning, and inventory management. The successful candidate will play a key role within the S&OP process, ensuring the business maintains the correct inventory levels to support customer demand while balancing stock investment, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain supply plans in line with customer demand forecasts and business requirements
· Play a key role in the S&OP process, providing accurate supply and inventory insights
· Work closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure supply plans are aligned to business needs
· Manage inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability while minimising excess and obsolete stock
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring service, quality, and delivery expectations are achieved
· Monitor supplier performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where required
· Lead supplier review meetings and performance discussions
· Identify potential supply chain constraints and develop contingency plans to minimise disruption
· Analyse inventory, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance data to drive continuous improvement
· Support business growth by ensuring supply chain capability can meet future demand requirements

Key Skills/Experience:

· Previous experience in a Supply Planner, Supply Chain Planner or Inventory Planner
· Strong understanding of S&OP and integrated business planning processes
· Experience working closely with suppliers and manufacturing operations
· Proven ability to manage inventory levels and stock optimisation strategies
· Experience managing supplier performance and service-related issues
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
· Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills
· Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and changing environment
