Electrical Design & Estimator
£40-55k + Pension

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
Assist in the design of electrical and M&E projects alongside the wider design team
Develop and produce Electrical CAD drawings
Co-ordinate M&E services with overall scheme designs
Attend and contribute to project design meetings
Prepare material take-offs and bills of materials
Produce costings and quotations for projects
Source pricing from suppliers and sub-contractors
Support sub-contract enquiries and supplier negotiations
Maintain and update installation drawings throughout project lifecycles
Prepare as-fitted drawings upon project completion
Work closely with managers and designers to ensure projects meet client and company requirements
Occasional site visits alongside a primarily office/home-based role
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
Experience in CAD design (Autocad and AMTECH)
Experience in electrical services design and/or estimating (one required, willingness to develop the other)
Knowledge of cable design, lighting, and emergency lighting systems
Understanding of electrical regulations (advantageous)
Strong teamwork skills with the confidence to question, challenge and support colleagues
Good organisational and coordination abilities
Willingness to learn and develop with structured mentoring support
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Located in Yorkshire, this role would be commutable from Leeds, York, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield and other surrounding areas.
