A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established housing assocation carrying out EICR testing and repair works across social housing properties throughout Manchester.
This is a long-term self-employed position offering £26.50 per hour CIS, a company van and fuel card, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position in the future.

Opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable contractorThe Role As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) within occupied and void social housing properties, ensuring installations remain compliant, safe, and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out EICR testing and inspections within domestic properties
Complete accurate inspection reports and certification
Identify electrical faults and recommend remedial works where required
Undertake minor remedial and repair works where necessary
Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and health and safety standards
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Liaise professionally with tenants, colleagues, and site teams
Manage workloads effectively across multiple propertiesRequirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
Previous experience carrying out domestic EICRs
Social housing experience preferred
Strong understanding of current electrical regulations
