Commissioning Engineer
Mainly UK, some European Travel
£50-55k + VAN, Overtime

Commissioning Engineer- The Role:
Commissioning and ensuring equipment operates to specification
Conducting electrical checks, IO testing, calibration, and system validation
Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs
Creating and executing test procedures
Supporting installation activities across electrical and mechanical systems
Liaising with contractors and internal engineering teams during projects
Providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders
Training client staff on operation and maintenance where required
Producing daily site reports and progress logs
Identifying risks/issues early and proposing solutions
Supporting continuous improvement of operational procedures
Carrying out routine servicing and calibration visits globally
Working to tight deadlines in fast-paced project environments
Commissioning Engineer- The Person:
Strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, or control systems
Experience in commissioning, testing, or field service engineering
Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of industrial systems (electrical, sensors, pneumatics)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a professional approach
Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively under pressure
Proactive, self-motivated and solution-oriented
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Good IT and analytical capabilities
Commercial awareness
Willingness to travel and work on customer sites (UK & international)
Flexible to work shifts and unsociable hours when required
