This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the school, supporting staff, pupils, parents and visitors while contributing to the effective management of key administrative processes. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the school's administrative functions while providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and visitor enquiries professionally.
* Maintain accurate pupil and staff records.
* Support attendance monitoring and reporting procedures.
* Assist with admissions, enrolment and school communications.
* Produce letters, reports and other administrative documentation.
* Coordinate meetings, appointments and school events.
* Update and maintain school databases and management information systems.
* Provide administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff.
Requirements
* Previous administrative experience, preferably within an educational setting.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience using SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or similar school systems is desirable.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
