Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with a range of complex needs. This role focuses on delivering safe, personalised support that enhances quality of life, promotes independence, and ensures dignity and respect at all times.

You will be working in a dynamic care environment where each service user has unique physical, emotional, or behavioural needs, requiring a thoughtful and adaptable approach.

Main Duties

* Provide tailored care and support based on individual needs, preferences, and care plans

* Support individuals with complex conditions such as neurological disorders, physical disabilities, or long-term health conditions

* Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines

* Carry out delegated healthcare tasks following appropriate training

* Recognise and respond to changes in a service user’s condition or behaviour

* Encourage independence while ensuring appropriate levels of support and supervision

* Promote a safe, supportive, and respectful environment

* Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care and incidents

* Work in partnership with families, clinicians, and other professionals

* Handle challenging situations professionally, prioritising safety and wellbeing

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience in a care or support role, ideally within complex care

* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Good organisational and communication skills

* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and night work

* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
