SEND Learning Mentor - Wokingham & Berkshire
Make a Difference Every Day
Quantum Scholars is seeking compassionate and dedicated SEND Learning Mentors to support children and young people across Wokingham and Berkshire through personalised 1:1 educational and wellbeing support.
Working with pupils who may have SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance, or gaps in education, you'll help build confidence, engagement, and positive learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored 1:1 support to meet individual needs
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
Encourage confidence, resilience, and independence
Support emotional wellbeing and engagement with learning
Work collaboratively with families, schools, and professionals
Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or additional needs
Background in mentoring, youth work, pastoral care, education, tutoring, or similar roles
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Patient, adaptable, and committed to helping young people succeed
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to Work in the UK
