They are seeking a dedicated Permanent Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team, providing crucial support to operational functions and ensuring seamless financial management. Collaborate closely with the operational team to produce accurate monthly management accounts in line with reporting schedules.
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, providing detailed analysis of business performance, including costs, revenue, and margins.
Work alongside the Business Systems Team to develop processes and improve reporting efficiencies.
Prepare and contribute to project WIP reporting, ensuring recording is complete and accurate within business systems.
Assist with audit preparations by providing schedules and explanations, delegating tasks where appropriate within the team.
Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Utilise your technical accounting expertise to ensure compliance and enhance financial reporting quality.
Support and supervise payroll preparation, ensuring timely and precise processing.
Qualified or approaching qualification as an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accountant.
Extensive experience in management accounts preparation and financial partnering in a business environment.
Proficiency with Sage line 200 and strong working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes would be advantageous.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.
Highly organised, with excellent prioritisation skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to process improvements.
Effective leadership ability with experience mentoring finance team members.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and other accountancy systems, demonstrating technical expertise.
