CNC Miller | Poole | £20 + per hour
Are you a CNC Miller who thrives in a highly regulated Aerospace environment, working on technically complex components in low batch quantities?
This CNC Miller role offers long-term stability, structured working patterns and the chance to work on precision-critical parts where quality comes first.
If you’re a CNC Miller who enjoys programming autonomy and traditional, well-run manufacturing, this opportunity will suit you.
As a CNC Miller, you will benefit from:

Four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 39 hours
Overtime available on Fridays from 6:30am to 12:00pm, paid at x1.5
Core working window of 6:00am to 6:00pm, with required attendance between 8:00am and 4:30pm
195 hours annual leave plus Bank Holidays, equivalent to 25 days
Christmas shutdown from 22nd December through to New Year
Additional shutdown in May, using annual leave
Sick pay of 4 hours per day at full pay after one year of service
One annual pay review per year
A stable, long-established Aerospace manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and retention
As a CNC Miller, your responsibilities will include:

Programming, setting and operating horizontal CNC milling machines
Manufacturing low batch, high-precision Aerospace components
Writing, editing and proving programs using Fanuc controls
Working from detailed engineering drawings and route cards
Carrying out self-inspection to strict Aerospace quality standards
As a CNC Miller, your experience will include:

Proven experience as a CNC Miller within Aerospace manufacturing
Strong background working with horizontal milling machines
Ability to program, set and operate independently
Confident use of Fanuc language
Experience producing low-volume, tight-tolerance components
