A leading manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join their engineering department at their site based in YO15 1DY.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical engineer with leadership experience who is looking to step into a key role within a fast-paced production environment.
The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers while ensuring the efficient maintenance and reliability of production equipment across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting the engineering team on shift
Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
Fault finding on automated production machinery
Driving continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained
Supporting production to minimise downtime
Requirements
Electrical engineering qualification
Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience leading or supervising engineers
Knowledge of PLCs and automated machinery advantageous
Ability to work effectively within a double days shift pattern
