Are you a Physics Teacher looking for a permanent part-time role from September 2026?

Do you have strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Science, with a particular specialism in Physics?

Are you confident teaching engaging lessons across Physics, Chemistry and Biology within a secondary school setting?

A co-educational secondary school in North London is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join their science department on a permanent 0.6 FTE basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is looking to join a supportive and high achieving secondary school environment.

The successful Physics Teacher will teach KS3 and KS4 Science, with the timetable mainly focused on Physics, alongside some Chemistry and Biology. The school is looking for a knowledgeable and adaptable Science specialist who can deliver high-quality lessons, support student progress and contribute positively to the wider Science department.

To be considered for this role, you will:

Have experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
Ideally hold QTS
Have strong subject knowledge in Physics, with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Science
Be confident teaching some Chemistry and Biology as part of a broad Science timetable
Demonstrate effective classroom management and high expectations for all learners
Be committed to supporting student progress within a permanent part-time teaching role
