CCS is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term supply basis with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging Biology lessons and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
* Teaching Biology to students in Years 7–10
* Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons
* Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
* Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Building strong relationships with students, staff and parents
* Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
* Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Successful Candidate Will Have
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) =
* Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* The ability to build excellent rapport with students and staff
* A flexible, proactive and professional approach
* A genuine passion for teaching and learning
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
* Right to work in the UK
* Satisfactory references covering employment history
* All compliance and safeguarding checks completed in line with Safer Recruitment guidelines
