The Hours You’ll Work;

* Days only, 08.0am till 16.30pm

* £12.71, raising once permanent

* MTrec are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Gateshead area.

The Job You’ll Do;

* Picking, packing and shrink-wrapping of products ready for dispatch

* Data entry, booking goods in / good out, manual lifting and moving, relocating products around site

* Will be on their feet all day

* General housekeeping, waste segregation, recycling and waste disposal

* Manual Handling (lifting / moving) of items that are up to 30kg in weight

* Work with internal suppliers / customers as required (Sales, Quality, Operations Support)

About You;

* Experience in warehouse and distribution environment.

* Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload

* Experience using in house systems, ideally SAP.

* Good communication and listening skills.

* Ability to motivate the team to meet KPIs.

* Ability to work to deadlines.

* Ability to remain calm under pressure.

* Problem solving skills.

* A good accuracy level is essential.

* Good numeracy and literacy.

* Ability to work alone or as part of a team as required
