Shuttering Carpenter needed for Trowbridge

Location: Trowbridge

Rate: £22-£25ph

Duration: 3-4 months

Hours: 7.30am to 5pm

Job Description:

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Civils & Groundworks Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to work on their busy site in Trowbridge

Key Duties:

* ·Construct and install shuttering/formwork for concrete structures.

* Assemble, erect, and dismantle formwork systems

* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Measure, cut, and fit timber and formwork materials accurately.

* Install and secure formwork panels using bolts, clamps, tie rods, and associated fixings.

* Ensure formwork is aligned, level, and braced correctly prior to concrete pours.

* Work alongside steel fixers and concrete teams to meet project requirements.

* Inspect formwork for quality and safety compliance.

* Strip and remove shuttering after concrete has cured.

* Maintain a safe and tidy working area in accordance with site health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

· Blue CSCS with Formwork ticket

· Own tools

· Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling

· Ability to commute to Trowbridge site reliably
