Brake Press Operator (Temp to Perm)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.75
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our clients manufacturing team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have proven experience operating brake press machinery, specifically Trumpf and Amada presses, and be confident working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality sheet metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up and operating Trumpf and Amada brake press machines.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Producing components to required tolerances and quality standards.
Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
Inspecting finished products to ensure accuracy and quality.
Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Meeting production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating brake press machinery is essential.
Experience with Trumpf and/or Amada presses preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
